Brigit. (Celtic) The goddess of Spring Time. A bushel of corn in her arms and a spade in her hand symbolising the time of the year when we can expect plenty from our work.
The “13” and the dark doorway represent our fears about entering a new phase, a new undertaking in life. Yet the goddess Brigit who stems from the Bornless One has seen the passings of Eons and assures us that all is well and when we enter the darkness with a fearless heart we will find light.
Symbolism is found in everyday life – even in the streets of Kreuzberg.
