A Short Story that I wrote with fire in my Mind. It’s a great story that raises many questions in the reader’s mind yet leaves you feeling satisfied after a really enjoyable and weird reading.
I wrote it in the first person, which was strange, it’s an unsettling feeling to write from the point of view of the protagonist who may or may not turn out to be somebody you would never want to become.
The tenant, our protagonist, wakes one morning to discover the commotion of the police and his neighbours at the entrance to his building. He goes to the landing with his coffee and sees a green sheeted body lying at the entrance.
Because of the police activity he believes that there has been a murder.
Carlos, his mysterious neighbour joins him, they discuss the ins and outs of the situation. We then follow the thoughts of the tenant as he goes about his day which becomes increasingly strange and weird.
If you like a good thriller, mystery or just plain weird people, you will enjoy reading this wonderful little story and getting inside the head of a not-so-right man.
